Teams from 16 conferences in 172 games are on CBS Sports Network’s schedule for 2012-13. The network, which starts its 10th season showing men’s college basketball, released the schedule Thursday. The first games shown will be from the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, with Connecticut, and first-year coach Kevin Ollie, facing Wake Forest and University of Illinois-Chicago against New Mexico. The first regular-season game is Villanova at La Salle on Nov. 25. Among the conferences that will appear on the network are: the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Big East, SEC, Pac-12 and Atlantic 10.
