Second Harvest Inland Northwest - Second Harvest is in need of volunteers to help sort and pack produce, food drive or bulk food items in preparation for delivery to the food bank’s emergency food outlets. Shalom Ministries - Volunteers are needed to support the cook in preparing breakfast Monday through Thursday for the needy in downtown Spokane. SNAP - Volunteers, ages 25-55 or older, with basic carpentry/maintenance skills are needed to help staff with upkeep and special projects, including building shelving, repairing office furniture, cleaning/maintaining outside grounds and upkeep of lawns/parking/buildings, as needed. SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. - Volunteers who are at least 15 years old are needed to help maintain a healthy and sanitary environment for SpokAnimal’s cats.
