Jets’ injuries pile up before Texans game

Associated Press

Jets tight end Dustin Keller, wide receiver Stephen Hill, nose tackle Sione Po’uha and fullback John Conner are all doubtful for New York’s game Monday night against the Houston Texans.

None of the four practiced all week – Keller, Hill and Conner because of injured hamstrings, and Po’uha with a sore lower back. Keller hasn’t played since the season opener, and Hill missed last Sunday’s game against San Francisco. The receiving corps is already thin, especially after top receiver Santonio Holmes was lost for the season with a foot injury against the 49ers.

Browns receivers to miss Giants game

Browns wide receivers Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin will miss Cleveland’s game today against the N.Y. Giants because of hamstring injuries.

Both players sat out practice all week and the Browns downgraded them on their final injury report before facing the defending Super Bowl champions.

Greg Little and rookie Josh Gordon will likely start today, with Jordan Norwood in the slot.

Neal rejoins Packers after suspension

The Green Bay Packers activated defensive end Mike Neal, who was suspended for the first four weeks of the season for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Neal was suspended March 13 after testing positive for the prescription drug Adderall.

Colts activate Hills, waive Adams

The Indianapolis Colts promoted offensive tackle Tony Hills from the practice squad to the active roster.

To make room for Hills, the Colts waived receiver Kris Adams.
