JENNINGS, Velma Irene
Velma Irene Jennings, our Grandma Gonna, returned to the arms of God and her husband Norton Jennings on October 4th 2012.
Born Velma Sloan on January 28th, 1907 in Thornton, WA, she taught school and was Postmaster in Spangle, WA for many years.
She is survived by daughters Marilyn Kennedy and Barbara Dodson along with multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, and the many friends that were blessed to know her.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday October 13th, 2012 at Spangle Cemetery at 2:30pm followed by a potluck at the Spangle Service Club.
