Obituary: Peressini, Paul Matthew

Age 44

PERESSINI,
Paul Matthew
(Age 44)

Passed away August 28, 2012, at his home in Kenosha, WI.
Paul was born June 14, 1968 in Havre, MT, to Daniel Peressini and Jane Peressini (Horras).

As a youth, he moved to Helena with his family, and grew up audaciously with the many friends he seemed to attract.

After graduating from Capital High School in 1987, Paul moved to Bozeman, MT, and received his Bachelors of Science in Mathematics in 1991 and his Master’s Degree in 1993 from Montana State University.
Paul worked in the information technology industry in various roles including computer programmer, systems administrator, project manager, and department director.

Paul’s career path wound geographically as well, and at times he called home various cities in the states of Wisconsin, Colorado, Idaho, and Montana.

In addition to being a computer whiz, Paul was an avid mountain and road bicyclist.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

Paul read voraciously, kept a beautiful garden, and was an accomplished cook.

His dogs were like family and friends and Kika, Jake, Kita, Brando, and Mead all benefited enormously from loving him.
Paul was known for his generosity of spirit.

His kindness was especially apparent in his unconditional loyalty and support for his family and friends.

Many people came to Paul for help and his home was open to anyone in need.

His sense of humor was keen, and he took his responsibilities seriously, but had a beautiful way of not taking life too seriously.
Paul is survived by his children-whom he loved more than anything in the world-Franco, Sal, and Jack; his parents, and his siblings Anthony, Celia, Dominic, and Ben.

At the time of his death, Paul was living in a sober community, helping people in recovery, and spending time with his children and family.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

There will be a ceremony at 11:00 AM on October 13, at Mount Olive Christian Fellowship, 2401 6th Ave North, Great Falls, MT, and a memorial service in Helena, MT, on the same date at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 512 Logan (corner of Cruse Avenue and Lawrence Street) from 5:00-7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to a college fund established for Paul’s children.

Such donations and other condolences may be sent to 317 Janet St., Helena, MT 59601.
Paul Peressini.

Our world is a greyer place without him.
