Born February 29, 1960 in Seattle, WA and passed away September 28, 2012 in Spokane, WA.
Charles graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle, WA.
He liked art and enjoyed drawing houses and cars.
He loved to watch and play basketball and football.
He worked at The Healing Lodge of the 7 Nations and The Seattle Boys and Girls Club.
He is survived by his wife, Ostennia Prater, two sons, Ian (Ciarra) Curry-Prater and Curtis Curry-Prater and one daughter, Ginger Prater, all of Spokane, WA.
Two brothers, Harry Prater of Airway Heights, WA and Harold Prater of Seattle, WA.
One sister, Joan Prater of Seattle, WA.
Six grandchildren: Keshon, Kayden, Kyron, Kaleah, Dayla and Imanni.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nevada and Henry Prater, David Morehead, Glen Prater and Jeanette Prater.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 11th at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
