This undated photo provided by the Shenandoah County Sheriff shows Brenda Paz, formerly of Fairfax, Va., whose body was discovered July 17, 2003, along the bank of the Shenandoah River in Virginia. The Obama administration has labeled a violent Central American street gang as an international criminal organization subject to U.S. government sanctions, the first time this designation has been given to such a group. Among the most high profile killings attributed to MS-13 in Virginia was the 2003 stabbing death of Paz who left the gang and became an informant. Brenda Paz, 17, was stabbed to death and her body was left along the Shenandoah River.
