Grace Evelyn Menger Zimmer, 92, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.
Grace was born near Almira, WA to Clarence and Matilda Menger.
Grace and her sweetheart, Gordon Harrison Zimmer were married on August 1, 1942 and lived happily together for over 65 years when he passed away.
A long-time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as a primary teacher, visiting teacher, and in the Relief Society.
She will be remembered for her love to cook, garden, be a homemaker and mother, and for her love and service to others.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Colleen (Jim); son, Ray (Linda); nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at the LDS Chapel on W. 2112 Francis in Spokane.
