Born July 30, 1957

Our beloved father and husband “Hey Mikey” , passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2012 at home.
He was a graduate of Rogers High School and upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, being honorably discharged in 1978.

He attended Walla Walla College where he received a degree as a machinist, he has worked the last 7 1/2 years at ASC Machine and Tool.

“Hey Mikey” was known for his unique look at life, he enjoyed all music, especially Southern Rock, loved playing the guitar, and making all his friends laugh.

In March of 2011, he purchased his first brand new Harley.

Never have I seen a bigger, broader smile on a man’s face.

He enjoyed all of his rides throughout God’s country, it became his pride and joy.

Remember: “A long life may not be good enough, but a good life is long enough”.

He also enjoyed several trips to Sturgis, SD.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Ayva) Nichols, Spokane; two sons Jon (Angel) Nichols, Spokane, Jeremy (Stephanie) Nichols, Spokane; one daughter Michelle Nichols, Spokane; two step-daughters Rachael McDanel, AZ.

; Nichole Drake, Spokane; also survived by many grandchildren, aunts, uncles and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his mother Cleo Christensen, father Millard Nichols, brother Paul “Ajax” Nichols, Ivy Lindsey, Danny Hauner, George Tattrie, and step-daughter Jamie Lynn Drake.
Memorial Services are to be held November 3rd at 3pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on 16th and Sullivan.
