Pizza joint to open on Division

Brad Barsness will open his first Rosa’s Pizza in Spokane in November. Barsness has operated two pizza businesses for several years in Cheney and Airway Heights.

He is leasing 1,300 square feet at 3422 N. Division St. and said he expects to open within six weeks, with about 15 employees.

“I finally decided to take advantage of the chance to get into Spokane at a good location,” Barsness said.

The restaurant is primarily take-out and delivery.

“We’ll have very little sit-down space there,” Barsness said.

Don Jamieson represented property owner Harlan Douglass; Brian Anderson represented Barsness. Both agents are with NAI Black.

Dermatology clinic moving

Dr. Scott Smith, owner of Valley Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, is relocating the clinic to larger offices in the Spokane Valley.

Smith said the move should occur in January.

Smith has operated the skin care clinic for five years in the Medicus Professional Building, 12615 E. Mission Ave. He’s had to lease two floors in that building to manage the business.

The move nearby to 4,160 square feet at 12509 E. Mission will allow consolidation of the offices, Smith said.

He operates the clinic five days a week. Grant Person and Jon Jeffreys of NAI Black brokered the deal.

Sanitary supply firm leases space

Waxie Sanitary Supplies has leased 4,000 square feet of space at the Spokane Business & Industrial Park at 3808 N. Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley.

The company provides warehousing and distribution of sanitary maintenance supplies to schools, government offices, businesses and medical facilities. Its products cover a range of cleaners, solvents, paper products and restroom items.

This is the San Diego-based company’s first office in Spokane, a spokesman said. It will serve customers across Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
