Obituary: Rieckers, Leeann

RIECKERS,
LeeAnn

LeeAnn Arlene Rieckers (Hall) passed away on October 5, 2012 at the age of 57.

She was born in Spokane in April, 1955 to Robert and Lee Hall.

LeeAnn was on vacation with her husband Ray and died of a head trauma while they were visiting Las Vegas.

LeeAnn attended Shadle Park High School and worked for the Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners for 14 years until she was disabled in 1994.

LeeAnn loved to craft, to cook, to converse with friends and to dance.

LeeAnn was a kind and caring wife, mother and friend.

Over the years she became a resolute Gonzaga Basketball fan due in part to her husband’s fervor.

LeeAnn’s parents, Robert and Lee Hall, and her sister Roberta predeceased her.

She is survived by her husband Ray, her son Jeremy Hubbard, her step-daughter Natalie Donnell and her partner Paige, and her grandchildren Tyler Hubbard, Cory Hubbard, his partner Shaye Carpenter, and Sydney Hubbard.

LeeAnn was looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother in February.

A Celebration of LeeAnn’s life will be held at 1:00 PM, October 20, at SNAP, 3102 W. Fort George Wright Drive, Spokane.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners.
