It’s time to find the umbrella

Rain is expected through Thursday

The National Weather Service reports that showers moving west from Deer Park toward Diamond Lake and on toward Priest Lake may produce graupel or small hail, as well a some thunder late in the afternoon. Spokane can expect showers and a high of 48 degrees Sunday afternoon, followed by a partly cloudy, dry night with temperatures near or just below freezing. Monday morning brings an 80 percent chance of rain continuing through Tuesday. If Tuesday evening is cold enough we’ll see some flurries blend in with the rain. Wednesday will be a day of transition, with more showers and milder temperatures to be expected, before things dry up a bit on Thursday.
