Beloved husband and father of two sons, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 20th.
Paul was born on April 3, 1970 in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho as the youngest of five children to Anita (Jenicek) Stephens and Charles Sins (preceded in death).
Paul began his school days in Hope, ID and at the age of eight, the family relocated to Hayden, ID where he met many life-long friends and created lasting memories.
He attended Hayden Lake Elementary School, Canfield Jr. High and Coeur D’Alene High School, graduating in 1988.
Paul graduated from North Idaho College where he was a member of the Varsity Crew team.
Paul proudly joined the United States Marine Corp in May, 1993 as a helicopter mechanic and completed his service as a SGT in May, 1999.
In 2000 Paul met the love of his life, Jennifer Lynn Tesch, and they began to build a happy life together with their union in marriage, followed by the birth of Tyler Jade (seven) and Casey Andrew (four).
As a family they enjoy camping, fishing and all family activities.
Professionally, Paul was a member of the team at FL Smidth where he was a Senior Mechanical Designer.
Previously in his career he worked for Industrial Design Services and Energy Products of Idaho.
Paul was recently baptized at Mirabeau Chapel in the Spokane Valley and was involved with his church family.
Paul is survived by his four siblings: Wendy and Sam Kaschmitter (Coeur D’ Alene), Wanda and Jeff Hall (Coeur D’ Alene), Dave and Marianne Stephens (Seattle) and Cathy Stephens (Spokane); his mother Anita Stephens (Coeur D’ Alene); his Grandmother Beryl Cahill (Hayden); his in-laws Norm and Sherry Tesch (Veradale), Lori and Bryan Bucher (Otis Orchards); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Paul was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at Mirabeau Chapel in the Spokane Valley, 3001 N. Pines (one half mile North of I-90, on Pines) Saturday, October 27 at 11AM.
