Rape logic is painful

Republican logic would suggest that a woman having been raped couldn’t file charges against the father if she becomes pregnant, since a “legitimate rape” would have caused body juices that would have prevented the pregnancy. Therefore, the violation could not be prosecuted as a rape; rather it would be viewed as consensual sex.

Among possible options is having the father assume custody of the child once born, or possibly going to Mexico for an abortion. The latter being an issue, since the fetus has human rights, and the death must be investigated. The outcome is premeditated murder that would result in a life sentence for the mother or, in places like Texas, a probable death sentence. Wow, this is unfortunate for many women under a Romney/Ryan presidency.
