TURNER, Patricia M.

Patricia Machelle Turner, 53, died September 1, 2012, with her family by her side at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, ID.


A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 7, at the Spokane Valley Stake Center, 21022 E. Wellesley, Otis Orchards, WA.

Viewing at 9:00am and service at 10:00am.


Patty was born October 21, 1958, in Sacramento, CA to Eric and Rose Dukes.

She graduated from Decatur High School in 1977.

While silk-screening ribbons for an upcoming cross country meet, she met Chet Turner who came to assist her.

They dated and later were married on December 31, 1976.

She was a military wife to Chet during four years of U.S. Army military service and raised two children and pregnant with a third while Chet attended BYU through to graduation.

Their family grew to a total of four children.

Patty was a homemaker while her husband, Chet, is an Electrical Engineer.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Her interests included family, crafting, sewing and was a very avid reader.
Patty is survived by her son, Chester David Turner; three daughters and their spouses, Debra Machelle Briggs and Tyson Briggs, Amber Leann Keith and Greg Keith, and Starla Marie Turner; sisters, Kristine Dukes and Susan Patterson; brothers, Eric and Kirk Dukes; mother, Rose Fowler; and seven grandsons, Gabriel and Ashton Briggs; Jordan, Jeremiah and Jacob Hill, Travis Keith; and Kyran Turner; and a granddaughter, Morgan Keith.
