Age 68
BORDEN, James Jay “Jim”
Passed away on August 28th, 2012. Jim was born to William A. and Charlotte Borden on March 26th, 1944 in Spokane, WA. He spent much of his youth as a caddy and assistant golf pro at the Spokane Country Club. Later he would go to work at U.R.M where he would retire from in 1996 after 27 years. Jim loved golf, Univ. of Washington Huskies football, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters: Jamie (Dan) Hilker, Carlene (Jim) Shopbell, Spokane, Alissa (Jason) Sheneman, Las Vegas. Six …

Six grandchildren: Rylee and Addisyn Hilker, Brittni, Courtney, Brandon Shopbell, Spokane, Peyton Gottschalk, Las Vegas. Sisters: Lois (Jerry) Smith, Spokane, Rozanne Ritchie, Kissimmee, FL. Sister in-law: Marily Harris. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brother William N. “Bill” Borden, sister Bonnie Disciascio and brother-in-law Gene Ritchie. Jim will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
