JAMIESON, Gordon Edgar
(Age 88)

Passed away August 22, 2012 in Spokane.

Gordon was born in Spokane, on September 9, 1923; he was the son of Joel and Maybelle (Hinton) Jamieson.

He attended Lewis & Clark High School and served in the US Army during WW II.

Gordon worked in the flooring business for 43 years and was a partner at Garland Harper for a number of years.

Gordon was a member of Valley Group AA in Millwood and he loved to travel, dance, play cards, and bird watch.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Fay Sandham; brother, Mac (Liz) Reynolds; sister, Elaine Becherer; son, Daniel Jamieson; daughter in law, Ase Torjussen; step daughter, Michelle (Greg) Treichel; 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Buster.

He was preceded in death by his wife, of 40 years, Gracie and a daughter, Lauron.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, SCRAPS or Spokanimal.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012, at 2:00pm, at Greenwood Terrace Cemetery.

A dessert potluck will follow at the ALANO Club W. 1709, 7th Ave. Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home 1306 N. Monroe, in charge of arrangements.
