William

William “Bill” McLeod went to sleep in the on September 2, 2012 at the age of 71.

Born in Kellogg, ID on June 24, 1941, Bill grew up in Spokane with his parents and siblings, graduating from Rogers High School in 1961.

In June of 1966 he married his wife MariEllen and they settled down in Spokane where they raised their three children.

Bill worked as a custodian for School District 81 for 34 years before he retired in 1995.

He was a man of infinite generosity who loved his family beyond measure.

Preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Gertrude McLeod, William is survived by his wife MariEllen, his three children Gary McLeod, Heidi Maloney, and Holly Farnsworth and four grandchildren.

He is also survived by his six siblings: Patricia Irvine, Linda Burnham, Robert McLeod, Kathy McLeod, Marvin McLeod, Jr. and Daniel McLeod and their families.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sept. 16 at Spokane Central SDA Church.
