OMLID, Marvin Charles “Chuck”

Chuck passed away on September 2nd with his Melody by his side following a very short and private battle with pancreatic cancer.

Chuck was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on August 2nd, 1951 to Obe Marvin and Colleen Omlid.

He was preceded in death by his mother Colleen (in February of this year).

He leaves behind his fiancee Melody, his father Marvin, brothers Rod and Dwayne Omlid, sisters Cathy (Dean Hermanson, Tammy (Doug) Barnett, Joni (Lonnie) Johnson.

He also leaves behind, his daughters Kristy LeClair, Kelsi Betanzo, and his grandchildren.


Chuck’s love of life, need for fun, and passion for anything aviation will be sorely missed by his loved ones, friends, colleagues, and his coworkers at Burton Construction.

He loved his horses and dog Lillie, fishing, boating, duck/goose hunting and four wheeling and especially loved his trips to Kona, Hawaii with Melody
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church 223 South Hallett St. in Medical Lake, WA on September 29th.
