Pac-12 football picks

Didn’t do too well with all the upsets last week, but I’ll ride my UCLA over Nebraska pick for the rest of the season. All games Saturday except those that aren’t. All lines are for entertainment and gambling purposes only.

Washington State at UNLV (WSU by 8.5), Friday: I’m no expert, but this sure feels like an awfully low spread. Might not be a replay of last year, but this game shouldn’t be close. WSU 38-10.

California at Ohio St. (OSU by 16.5): Nothing about the Bears inspires confidence they can cover. OSU 31-7.

Tennessee Tech at Oregon (no line): Yawn. Oregon 65-10.

Portland St. at Washington (no line): So since reporters can’t write about the Huskies’ injuries anymore, does that mean we can’t joke about their bruised pride after that LSU loss? UW 35-13.

Arizona St. at Missouri (Missouri by 6.5): First road game of the Todd Graham era. If he likes Columbia enough, maybe he’ll stay. Missouri 28-21.

USC at Stanford (USC by 8.5): If you think the Cardinal can win, Lane Kiffin is banning you from watching. USC 31-14.

Colorado at Fresno St. (FSU by 15.5): The Buffaloes look like a middle of the pack team … in the Big Sky. FSU 28-14.

BYU at Utah (BYU by 4): Utes ‘D’ solid, but QB now a major concern. BYU 24-14.

South Carolina State at Arizona (no line): Rich Rod’s crew should be able to have its way in this one. Arizona 56-14.

Houston at UCLA (UCLA by 17): Can the Bruins avoid a letdown? Yes, 41-27.

• Last week: 8-4, 5-4 against the spread. Season: 18-5, 9-8 ATS.
