Fitzgerald plans classical night

Larry Fitzgerald, world traveler and star wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, is adding another line to his resume. On Thursday, he will be the conductor for the performance of the national anthem on opening night for the Phoenix Symphony. Fitzgerald (pictured right) tweeted on Thursday that he was going to be conducting the symphony and asked “Anybody have any tips for me?” Fitzgerald, who holds nearly every Cardinals franchise receiving record, has traveled to more than 75 countries, many of them to promote charities. For his career, Fitzgerald has 697 receptions for 9,678 yards and 73 touchdowns. His Cardinals play at the New England Patriots on Sunday in a matchup of 1-0 teams. – Associated Press
