Labor innuendo unwarranted

I see in your Sept. 6 editorial you express a concern about labor negotiations with state employees and the state as not being as open as you’d like.

May I make a comment or two about your editorial? The cost of printing, paper, advertising and labor for your paper are not open, but I trust you to be honest and fair so I support you and your paper.

At my local supermarket, the cost of my breakfast cereal, coffee, Centrum Silver is not open but, also, I think they are honest and fair, so I shop there.

But your concern about labor negotiations with state employees troubles me.

You imply these talks are not “as honest and fair” as your or my markets are. Oh I know you didn’t say that but it’s implied. This innuendo is not good journalism, I fear. Doesn’t the “good book” say not to bear false witness?
