McLOUGHLIN, Dorothy Marie Elliot

Passed away peacefully on August 26, 2012 in Whitefish, MT.
She was born in Fort Benton, MT on April, 8, 1930 to Johanna Koch Elliot and Frank Elliot.
Dorothy was the youngest of four children.
She worked in banking for several years.
She married Warren McLoughlin, Jr. in 1956 and moved to Spokane in 1959.
She worked for Security Bank until they adopted Sandra and Scott.
Both Dorothy and Warren were active members of St. Francis of Assisi Church and Ridgeview PTA for many years.
Dorothy was involved with and had many friends in the Woman’s Club at the church.
She was able to travel to visit Sandra and family in Georgia, Germany, England, Turkey and Greece.
She lived with Scott and his family in Montana for two years prior to residing at Whitefish Care and Rehab.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren McLoughlin, Jr, parents Frank and Johanna Elliot and brother George Elliot.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Ellison and Scott McLoughlin, her brother James Elliot and sister Gertrude Boggs and six grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service held at a future date in Spokane to remember Dorothy.
She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
