PICKETT, Nancy

Nancy Pickett’s obituary continued: Beloved mother of Chuck, Kevin, Franklin.

Mom loved everyone, including her only sibling Lee McLaughlin and beauti-ful wife Kathy and their children Rod, Chris and Shelley; her only Nephew and Nieces.

Nancy entered into Jesus’s loving hands September 3, 2012 and was laid to rest on September 11, 2012 in Spokane.

Mom also loved dearly all the McLaughlin and Gumm family including her Uncle Chuck Gumm who died a WWII War hero and his wife Muriel.

More dearly loved family and friends includes: Grandma and Grandpa Davis and Dad’s sister Gloria Davis-Jinkens; Uncle Bob and their three children Cindy, Sandy, and R.J. Robert Jr. from Tulsa, OK; Patty and Anna Pickett, Kaiser, Trentwood Spokane Valley; best friends Claudette Mills, Alice Moore, and Larry Hansel.

Greg K. Skeens who passed in 1993 Dayton, Ohio; and Laura W. Wintersteen-Davis- Newkirk-Arleth of Loon Lake, WA.
Mom loved Jesus and was a Christian from an early age, after graduation from Northwest Christian High here in Spokane, she continued her education in Canada at the Prairie Bible Institute College prior to returning to Spokane and she then raised her three boys in Church here beginning with Loma Vista on Francis, then Trinity Baptist, then finally Hillyard Baptist.

Her oldest son Chuck went to Inland Empire School of the Bible College at Fourth Memorial Church in Spokane, after graduation from Rogers High School.

Mom’s voice was incredible and sang her whole life in church.

She sounded exactly like Julie Andrews.

Her favorite Bible Scripture was John 3 :16.


Mom loved Jesus and is with him now.
