Yakima: Alvin W. Boyle, 81, former Spokane resident, died Friday, September 14, 2012, at his home in Yakima.

Alvin was born May 15, 1931 in Hunters.


He worked as an electrician at the Priest Rapids Dam and Wanapum Dam.

He also worked at the Hanford Projects for several years until his retirement in 1993.
Survivors include his wife Lois Boyle of Yakima; five daughters, Cheryl Regnier of Cheney, Pam Alamos of Yakima, Sue Schmidt of Olympia, Brenda Kovalenko of Fife, and Linda Anderle of Gig Harbor; a son, Irvin Boyle of Arlington; a brother, Allie Boyle of Spokane; three sisters, Irene Mason and Rose Mills, both of Spokane, and Eileen Glockner of Renton; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, in the Chapel of Holy Family Catholic Church in Yakima.

The Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Brookside Funeral Home of Yakima are in charge of arrangements.
