CARPENTER, LaVonne S.
(Age 70)

Passed away September 4, 2012.

In 1957 she moved with her parents and siblings to Post Falls, Idaho from her place of birth in Beulah, North Dakota.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, gathering firewood, and gardening, with her husband.

As she grew older and scoliosis of her spine began to limit her mobility, she became involved in church and the Senior Citizens Center.
LaVonne is survived by her brother, Wallace Betz; sisters Marjorie Betz, and Sandra Sieber; daughter, Kimberly Marker; stepson Cory Carpenter; granddaughter, Jessica Hoffman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Bertha Betz; husband Richard W. Carpenter; son, Robert f. Hoffman; stepson Dick Carpenter; and stepdaughter, Deborah Carpenter.
Her life will be celebrated by a memorial service in Dougall Hall, at the Post Falls Senior Citizens Center followed by a potluck reception on September 22, 2012 at 2p.m.
