Obituary: Harmon, Rodney Kay

Age 82

HARMON,
Rodney Kay
1929-2012

Son of “Clay” and Frances Harmon, passed away in Williston, N.D. at Bethel Assisted Living Home, on July 16, 2012, after his wife, Doris, passed away five months earlier.

He grew up in Spokane, then joined the Navy and served for four years in the Korean Theatre.

He met his deceased wife in Spokane, and they traveled east with Pennsylvania Power and Light, and eventually settled in Allentown, PA., where they had careers in real estate and building homes.

After 30 years, they returned to Spokane for a short time, and then returned to Williston, N.D.
Kay was a caring man with a passion for old cars, dogs and Hershey bars and his beloved late wife, Doris.

Survivors include three sons: Jeff of PA., Tom and Jim of WA., and his devoted sister Patricia Johnson and family of Bellevue; as well as four stepchildren in the east.

Kay “Rod” had several grand and great-grandkids who will remember him as “Pop-Pop”.

A memorial service was held for Kay and his deceased wife on September 1, at Calvary Temple, PA. I sure do miss “U” Kay,” Love, Pat
