Tending to man in street: Spokane Fire Department personnel attend to a man that police said either was pushed or possibly jumped from a moving car at Second Avenue and Maple Street on Thursday evening. Spokane police found the unidentified man on the ground about 6 p.m. with a head injury. Officers also found nearby a knife and what appeared to be scattered Oxycontin painkiller pills. Police believe it was a drug deal gone wrong. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The car from which the man fell sped away from the scene, and the only description police had was that it was a silver four-door. (Colin Mulvany)
