McLaughlin good for business

Andy Billig says he is in favor of small business, but he votes against small businesses 90 percent of the time, according to the National Federation of Independent Business.

We need to change course to reinvest the entrepreneurial spirit of the business community into Spokane and surrounding communities. All of my children received their educations and graduated from college to seek employment, but most have gone out of state to find work that allows them to repay their college loans and sustain an income to have a family and build a future.

Why can’t Spokane and other communities in this beautiful part of the country attract companies such as Buck Knives, Cabela’s, and now Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories? These businesses have chosen other states for their job-rich industries for a reason. Business-unfriendly practices and messages from our legislators get in the way. It is time for Andy to take a vacation.

Nancy McLaughlin is a proven leader and business friendly. She is needed as 3rd Legislative District senator to more fairly represent us.
