Obituary: Gagner, Gabriel Michael “Mike”

GAGNER,
Gabriel Michael “Mike”

Gabriel Michael Gagner was born January 11, 1946, in Crookston, MN to Robert and Rose Anna Gagner.

He lived in Brooks, MN until graduating from Plummer High School in 1964.

After, he attended the University of Minnesota-Morris.

He then moved to Spokane, WA where he pursued a career in construction.
Although at times his health kept him from doing all of the things he wanted, his passion for life never waivered.

From simple pleasures like hockey and camping to the most important things like family and friends, he enjoyed every moment.

He knew that his time here on Earth was a gift; a gift he cherished.

He teased that he was on “borrowed time”, and he was determined to make the best of it all.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, brother, cousin, friend; but the role he was meant to play was the day he became a “Grandpa”.

Grandpa adored his grandchildren and they adored him.

You could find Grandpa at every volleyball, baseball, basketball and football game hootin, hollarin and cursing out the referees if they dare made a “bad call”.

Mike and his wife, Ronalee, shared a deep love for one another.

Their love served as an example of true commitment and the dedication between husband and wife.
Mike will be desperately missed by the people who were honored to know him.

He is survived by his wife, Ronalee; his children, Gabriel Gagner, Bill Gagner, Jolene (Jeff) Barrington and Mike Wingenter; his grandchildren, Alexanne , Kynzie, Beau, Jace and Madison; his foster daughter, Roberta (Roger) Arre; his brothers and sisters, Mae (Louis) Wichterman, Angie Stone, Mary Lou Cyr, Rolland (Nancy) Gagner, Barb (Vern) LaCoursiere, Bob (Kathy) Gagner, Clarence (Dianne) Gagner, Poncho (Char) Gagner; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Medore, Jerome and Freddie Gagner; stepdaughter, Kim, and extended family and close friends.

There will be a party waiting in heaven!

“You cannot begin to imagine how much you are loved
and how much you will be missed.
Thank you for all of the special memories.

Until we meet again ~ “
