Bonnie Mae

She was Born to Albert and Ruth Gumm on June 26, 1925 in Colville, WA. and died Sept 18, 2012 in Coeur d’Alene, ID of natural causes. Bonnie was the oldest of six children. She married Wm. “Bud” Putnam July 3, 1942. In their 69 years together they had five children, thirteen grand- children and fourteen great-grandchildren. Bonnie loved camping and spending winters in Arizona with her husband, and Lois and Frank. She also enjoyed painting, crocheting, doll making and playing games. In the last few years, she spent time with her sister Dorothy; they traveled, played, laughed, cried and fought. Bonnie depended a lot on Dorothy and loved her very much. Bonnie is survived by three daughters, Pam and (Bob) Cochrane of Cataldo ID, Dianna and (Larry) Brown of Eugene, OR and Darlene and (John) Wing of Glasgow, MT; two sisters, Bea James of Mankato, MN, and Dorothy Cook of Post Falls ID; one sister-in-law, Judy Gumm, of Walla Walla, WA; 11 grand- children and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; two sons, Bill and Donald; two sisters, Lois Knapp and Ginger Abelman; one brother, Neil; and two grandsons. There will be a Celebration of Life for Bonnie at ENGLISH FUNERAL CHAPEL, Coeur d’Alene on Monday September 23, 2012 at 10:30 am.
