Charles “Chuck” Sanders, 75, died Saturday at his home in Monroe.
He was born February 25, 1937 in Bates, Arkansas.
Chuck served in the US Navy during Korea and Viet Nam.
He served for 10 years as a machinist mate onboard air craft carriers, the Hancock and the Shangri-la.
He was employed as an engineer and took pride in his proto-type work in the family business, Back to Square One Machine Shop.
Chuck is survived by the love of his life and partner of 20 years, Jan Barbee; his sister, Lee; children Jeff, Kimberly, Christina, Darren and Debbie and five grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
