Obituary: Lazz, Beverly
Passed away peacefully on September 22, 2012 at the Spokane Hospice House with her daughters by her side after courageously battling breast cancer twice in her life time — once in 1986 and again in 2009.
She was a 1948 graduate of Harrington High School, active in Rainbow Girls and Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband Stan at the home; two daughters Shirley (Jim) Throop of Boise, ID, and Connie (Dale) Johnson of Desmet, ID; two stepsons Michael in the Dalles, OR and Daniel Lazz of Spokane; her precious three grandchildren - Katie Jo (Barry) Greenwalt of Desmet, ID, Jacque (Justin) Hoffman of Farmington, WA, Nicole (Kelly) Lawhead of Tekoa, WA; and one sweet great-grandchild, Braydee Lynne Greenwalt.
She has one brother Robert (Joyce) Patton of Spokane and one sister Joan (Gary) LaVerne of Spokane, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents A.C. and Alice Patton, and the girls’ father Burt Sobek in 1975.
She enjoyed traveling, sewing, painting, playing the piano, socializing and bowling, but her biggest joy was her family and grandchildren.
Memorial services, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 1:00PM at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley.
