Kenneth D. Shephard, Jr., 65, Salina, passed away, Sunday, September 23, 2012.
He was born January 18, 1947 in Staten Island, NY to Kenneth D. and Shirley T. Shephard, Sr.
He was a self-employed painting contractor.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; Janet M., daughters; Celeste M. Gabel of Spokane, WA., Khristine L. Shephard of Seattle, WA., and Lisa A. Stiffler of Salina, brother; Dennis E. Shephard of Pampa, TX and a sister; Deena T LaBarge of New Cambria, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be Thursday, September 27, at 11:00 am at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina, KS with Military Honors provided by The U.S. Air Force.
Burial will take place at a later date at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, KS.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26 from noon until 6:00 pm at the Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.
Memorials may be made to the family.
