State changes

A waiver has been granted by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association allowing the 2B/1B girls state soccer tournament to be a four-team format.

Each of the four districts where 2B/1B schools offer girls soccer will qualify a team to the state semifinals.

The WIAA board also approved a re-draw for the 2B/1B boys soccer state semifinal bracket in the rare case when two West and two East teams are paired. This will prevent teams that previously faced off earlier in the playoffs from playing each other again.
