Schwarzenegger: Affair inflicted pain

From Wire Reports

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger admits his affair with his family’s housekeeper that resulted in a child was “the stupidest thing” he ever did to then-wife Maria Shriver and says that it caused her and his children a great deal of pain.

“I think it was the stupidest thing I’ve done in the whole relationship. It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids,” Schwarzenegger told CBS’ “60 Minutes” of the relationship that led to him having a now 14-year-old son by the housekeeper.

The interview with Schwarzenegger is due to air Sunday on “60 Minutes” as the Austrian-born bodybuilder, movie star and politician promotes his new autobiography, “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story.”

Savage wins fight, but off air for now

Michael Savage’s talk show left the airwaves Thursday after the conservative host won a legal battle with his longtime employer, although his attorney said discussions with new networks are already under way.

Savage posted a message on his website Thursday night under the headline “Free at Last!” that said he was free to work with any station or network from now on. He said he “will not be heard on the radio for some time.”

More than 8 million people listen to Savage’s show each week, placing him behind only Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity in ratings, according to the magazine Talkers.

Savage, who broadcasts from San Francisco, was heard on nearly 400 stations. He has gained notoriety for offending immigrants and minorities, calling the Muslim holy book, the Quran, a “book of hate” and being banned in 2009 from traveling to England for allegedly fostering extremism.

Woman guilty of stalking actress

A New York City woman pleaded guilty Friday in federal court in Brooklyn to stalking “The Dark Knight Rises” actress Marion Cotillard.

Prosecutors said Teresa Yuan sent 504 emails and 120 webcam videos of herself to a Cotillard fan website over four days in 2011. In some of the videos shown in court, Yuan appears to be topless, hisses like a cat and discusses playing Russian roulette.

The Daily News reported that the 32-year-old Queens resident told a judge that she’s undergoing psychiatric treatment for bipolar disorder.
