DICKERSON, Mavis

Mavis was born February 4, 1937 to Charlette and Jesse Lowe in St. John, WA where she resided her entire life.

She was married to Larry Dickerson for 32 years.

‘Mavie’ enjoyed various endeavors over the years including rock-hounding, wine making, raising rabbits, steelhead fishing, and trapshooting.

Her great loves include playing cards, cooking and baking, and working on the St. John All Class Reunions.

She enjoyed watching her grandsons Dom and Drew play basketball in Lapwai, ID, providing dance classes for granddaughters Gracie, Glory, and Roxy and driving Gracie to violin lessons in Tekoa, WA.

Recently she became an active member of Wheatland Grange and immersed herself in Grange activities.

She was a little spitfire of a woman and we will miss her very much!

She is survived by her children, Teri Dickerson, Tami (Dan) Church, Larry (Toni) Dickerson Jr., and Todd (Becky) Dickerson, her sister, Judy Lowe, grandchildren, Dominic and Drew Church, Grace, Glory, and Roxy Dickerson, and Colton and Skyler Dickerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Joy Throckmorton and brother, Chuck Lowe.

A memorial celebration in Mavis’s honor will be held Saturday, October 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Wheatland Grange Hall, St. John, WA.

Memorial gifts in Mavie’s honor may be made to St. John All Class Reunion, St. John, WA 99171.
