Ron passed away on Saturday September 22nd, after a short struggle with cancer.
He died as he had lived, with quiet good humor, surrounded by his family and friends.
His kindness and unselfishness shone through to the end.
Ron will be deeply missed by his wife of 38 years, Jo Ann, and his daughters, Carol McCleary and Meghann (Nick) Elwell.
Ron was especially close to his granddaughter, Haily McCleary.
His three year old grandchildren, Samuel Elwell and Paige McCleary spent so much time with their Grandpa that their loss is immeasurable.
Ron’s three brothers, Gene, Walter and Jim, and his sister Shirley Flyckt (Jerry) had Ron in their prayers.
Carol Colbert, Ron’s mother-in-law, was like a second mother to him.
Jim and Linda (Colbert) Lee and their children and grandchildren share Jo Ann’s loss intimately.
Ron was a friend to all he met and his many business associates and golfing buddies will remember him at his best.
Robert Hyatt and Matt Maney will take over the business of McCleary Heating and Air Conditioning which Ron started in 1984.
They will keep the McCleary name in Ron’s memory.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the Lincoln Center on October 4th at 5:00 pm.
We hope his many friends and colleagues will take the opportunity to honor his memory.
