Bill was born in Sprague, WA, the sixth of eight children to Leo and Catherine (Tracy) McGough; attended St. Joseph Academy in Sprague and Gonzaga Prep.
Bill served in the U.S. Army and worked as an accountant for the Boeing Co. and also sold real estate with his dad in and around Sprague.
He was a devout Catholic and active in the Knights of Columbus.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ralph and Marty.
He is survived by his brother, Joe (Violet) McGough; his sisters, Mary Clare Misek, Imelda Chesurin, Rita Sterling and Barbara (Keith) Burns and by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on October 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier in Spokane, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
