TORPEY, John
John Michael Torpey, 70, of Jacksonville, NC, died July 28, 2012.
A memorial service to honor John’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6th, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Spokane, WA.
John was an avid golfer who loved the game.
He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He served our country during Vietnam in the U.S. Army.
He retired from the furniture business after 42 years.
Most recently John drove a school bus in NC.
He is survived by the love of his life: Sharon Torpey; children, Kenneth, Donald, Jeffrey Griffith, Michelle R. Marangi, Teresa, Tara, and Theodore Torpey; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his brother James Torpey.
