Corbin’s Second Annual Gong Show - Variety of talent will be performing. Auditions for the show will be Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. Emcees are Paul Ruch and Steve Corker. Dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. and will be provided by our friends and supporters, Harvard Park. Dinner will be chicken cordon bleu, rice pilaf and green beans, and tiramisu for dessert. Into Africa - Partnering for Progress holds its annual auction and gourmet dinner. Several P4P veterans will share their experiences in Africa and at the Kopanga Comprehensive Rural Health Project clinic. Spokane-based P4P sends medical and educational teams to Kenya twice a year to help provide access to health care, education and clean water. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Kopanga Comprehensive Rural Health Project, a village health clinic in southwest Kenya. Visit www.partneringforprogress.org to purchase tickets. Hoedown for HOPE - “Kick Up Your Heels” and support HOPE School, the area’s only listening and spoken language preschool for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. The evening will include a delicious dinner courtesy of London’s Ultimate Catering, music by the Ryan Larsen Band, dancing and fabulous items offered through raffles and prize packages.
