Man stabbed in reported domestic violence incident

Police said a woman stabbed her husband in a domestic violence incident in North Spokane this morning.

Spokeswoman Monique Cotton said the man’s injuries were initially life-threatening and he is being treated at a local hospital.

The woman fled the home in the 4100 block of West Wellesley Avenue before police arrived, Cotton said, and officers are searching for her.

She said it is unclear if the woman was defending herself and have not yet released her name due to the possibility she is also a victim.
