Move to Chicago odd

Coeur d’Alene Mines Chief Executive Officer Mitchell Krebs’ assertion that “Chicago is a global, pro-business city,” is an outdated opinion. Illinois is an anti-business state losing population, as is Chicago, because of anti-competitive taxes, both personal and corporate.

Although Coeur d’Alene Mines does not have operations in Illinois, the tax structure will make hiring and retention cost more than in more business-friendly locations.
