Age 85
CARTER, June Rosemay (Age 85) Passed away on March 31, 2013.
She was born on December 30, 1927 in Scotsbluff, Nebraska, moved to Wenatchee in 1940 and married Xenophon H. Carter, a WWII Navy Veteran, in 1957.
She relocated to Spokane, WA in 1973, when her husband passed away.
June enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and embroidery.
She treasured children & family.
June was predeceased by her parents Jake Wade Toombs and Julia Ann Viola (Cole) Toombs, sister Alice Marie, and brothers Lee Raymond, and Robert Lee.
She is survived by sister Marybelle Hurd, brother Wade Jake Toombs, sister Viola Jane Shafer, and lots of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, East Wenatchee, WA on Saturday April 6th at 12 noon with a lunch reception to follow.
