Washington State University Spokane has hired Terren Roloff as the director of communications and public affairs. Previously, Roloff was the director of community relations and communications for Spokane Public Schools.

Paul Manoguerra has accepted the position of director and curator of Gonzaga University’s Jundt Art Museum. Previously, Manoguerra served as the chief curator and curator of American art at the Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia.

Engineering

DCI Engineers has hired Anthony Sorentino as a structural project engineer.

Accra Fab Inc. has been awarded “Best Multimedia Video” by the Washington Department of Ecology for a testimonial video about its wastewater reclamation project.

Finance

Monica Lay has been hired by Banner Bank as a real estate loan officer. Lay has 20 years of experience in the real estate lending industry. Previously, she was with HomeStreet Bank.

Adam Jackson has been appointed to assistant vice president and private banking manager at the Spokane branch of Columbia Bank. Jackson has five years of experience in the banking industry.

Christopher Ackerly and Jeff Wright, both of Seattle, and Dennis Murphy, of Walla Walla, have been appointed to the Washington Trust Bank board of directors.

Intermountain Community Bancorp and Panhandle State Bank have appointed Ford Elsaesser to the position of chairman of the board of directors. Elsaesser is a senior partner at the firm of Elsaesser Jarzabek Anderson Elliot & Macdonald in Sandpoint.

Health care

Optician LaDawn Adams has been promoted to head the contact lens department of Eyedentity EyeCare and Eyewear. Adams has 10 years of experience in the eye care field.

Forbes Travel Guide has awarded Four Stars to the Davenport Spa and Salon. The Davenport is one of only 136 spas worldwide to receive this designation.

Nonprofit

Inland Northwest Land Trust has named Cadie Olsen as conservation director. Olsen has 25 years of water policy experience. Previously, she was the principal hydrologist for her company, Trinity Restoration Consulting.

Steven Nokes has been named treasurer for the New Hope Resource Center board of directors. He specializes in working with nonprofits.

Cole Turnbull has joined Century 21 Beutler & Associates. Turnbull is a graduate of Arizona State University and has a background in guest information services.
