Fans know, just ask them

I read the sports section letters to the sports editor with great interest last weekend.

It became obvious to me why the Gonzaga basketball team didn’t go all the way to the No. 1 spot in the March Madness games.  Apparently the Gonzaga sports authorities are making their greatest mistake by not availing themselves of the vast and awesome knowledge of the army of armchair coaches we have right here in the Spokane area.

Coach Few could just bumble his team to yet another postseason then go relax somewhere far away while the A-Team coaches do the real work and masterfully guide us through the various tournaments.

If Gonzaga spent some time away from recruiting players and spent time recruiting our amazing crop of pontificators, it would make all the difference, I’m sure.
