Obituary: Belton, Donald Ray (Age 80)

BELTON, Donald Ray (Age 80) Donald Ray Belton born April 12, 1932 in Sunnyside, WA passed away on March 27, 2013.

Dad spent his childhood on Happy Hill above Ford, WA.

Some of his childhood friends were the Spokane and Colville tribes of Indians.

He was proud to be associated with our local tribes.

Dad attended West Valley H. S. on Trent but that was not to be.

Donald quit school and joined the Navy; He was assigned to the USS Namakagon.

It took a while before dad quit throwing up and enjoyed life at sea.

After this dad reached the pinnacle of his trade and became a journeyman molder.

He is survived by his five children, Cheryle (Eli) Belton-Showell, Steve (Linda) Belton, Brenda (Scott) Himelspach, Tammie (Kim) Wehrung, Kathleen (Craig) Leibrick; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
