Obituary: Eshelman, Reba D.

Age 88

ESHELMAN, Reba D. (Age 88) Reba was born on the 4th of July, 1924 in Knox City, TX to Bessie Dawson and Lee Land Sr. She passed away March 31, 2013 in Spokane.

She graduated from Ft. Stockton High School in Texas.

After graduation she moved with her family to southern California.

She worked in the aircraft industry and during that time she met her husband Virgil Eshelman, they married on June 6, 1943.

Eventually they moved to Spokane where they raised their four children.

Reba supported and enjoyed her children’s activities such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, school band, Job’s Daughters and DeMolay.

Reba was an avid reader and loved to travel.

She is a past member of Eastern Star and is a member at Indian Trail Community Church.

She is survived by her four children Dale (Paula) of Hitchcock, TX, Deborah Brown of Moses Lake, WA, Duane (Marcie) of Spokane and Donn (Cheri) of Spokane, one brother Lee Land Jr. of Coronado, CA along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Virgil Eshelman.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 10 at 11:00 am also at Heritage Funeral Home.
