The daughter of Edward and Effie Martin (Litton), she was born on April 9, 1926, in Nashville, Tennessee.

She made her home in Spokane, WA for the past 57 years but never forgot, and was very proud of her southern roots.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sorority sister and a friend to all who knew her.

She always worked outside the home while raising three children.

She was tireless, never complained, and always put the needs of her family first.

In her spare time she sang in the church choir, volunteered at the Spokane Civic Theatre, and was involved with Rainbow for Girls.

She was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, later becoming a staff member and weekend manager.

She had many passions, the greatest being her beautiful flower gardens and immaculate home.

She loved camping with her family, especially at Priest Lake (Lion Head), travelling, quilting, sewing, doing jigsaw puzzles and watching old movies with her beloved grandchildren.

Hers, was a life well lived.

She was preceded in death by Donald H. Nash, her husband of 56 years, her son Steven (Mick) Nash, and grandsons Michael Nash and Sean Mutton.
