Obituary: Magney, Patricia E.

MAGNEY, Patricia E. “Patty” Patty was born in Spokane February 12th, 1957 and passed away on April 3rd, 2013.

Patty graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1975.

She worked for Boise Cascade, GMAC, and the last 18 years at Wendle Motors.

She loved camping, fishing, crafting, gardening and volunteering.

Patty’s smile and laugh brought happiness to everyone that knew her, even some that didn’t.

Patty and her husband, Gary, loved to cook, five gallons of spaghetti sauce every two years, apple sauce by the gallon, chili by the gallon and barbeque year round.

Patty was a wonderful, compassionate wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed so very much!

Preceded in death by her father, Dean Dailey.

Patty leaves behind the love of her life, her husband, Gary Magney; mother, Patricia Mitchell; son, Doug Taes, Jr., wife Angela; sisters, Jeannine Benscotter, husband, Dave; Chick Buckalew.

Stepchildren: Mark Magney, Lisa Magney, Scott Magney and wife, Laura; brother-in-law Ray Magney, wife Patti; sister-in-law Sandi Magney; stepbrothers Tom and Greg Mitchell.

We want to thank the Wendle family for all the support they have given, and all her many co-workers.

We also want to thank Hospice of Spokane.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in Patty’s name to Hospice of Spokane.

A Memorial Service will be held April 18th at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Church, 1503 W. Dean, Spokane, WA.

There will be a gathering following at Contempo Mobile Home Park Club House at 1205 E. Lyons Ave.
